THE MAHALO ALEWORKS ohana

Ben and JAcquelyn Kopf

FOUNDERS

Ben has a passion for beer that has culminated in building Mahalo Aleworks. He first began brewing in 2005. After visiting and collecting ideas from breweries and craft beer bars in over 50 countries, Maui was chosen as the perfect location to create something exceptional. Jacquelyn loves sour beers and is a passionate wine connoisseur. She serves as the resident wine expert and manages the music program, merchandise and special events. She has curated an excellent wine by the glass list, and is in charge of finding the excellent locally-made artisanal food and home products featured in our retail area. Jacquelyn and Ben met in grad school while studying Advertising. Ben is the nutty professor with big ideas that Jacquelyn manages to keep on the rails. Together they have four small keiki and reside upcountry where they are growing a range of fruits to be used in future Mahalo Aleworks beers .
